Private Practice Intensive:
A Small-Group Workshop for Therapists Ready to Start Their Practice With a Plan
This Workshop is For You If…
You’re ready to launch but stuck in “Am I missing something?” mode.
You’d rather build your practice thoughtfully than learn by costly trial and error.
You wished that there was a class in grad school that taught the business side of things.
You feel unsure what actually needs to be in place before launching.
Meet Your Instructor
Hi, I’m Lia, the founder of Alyssa Marie Wellness. I’m a therapist and former group practice owner, and I’ve been licensed since 2015 after receiving my MSW from USC.
I know firsthand how confusing it can feel to start a private practice and how many questions come up along the way. For a long time, I found myself piecing together information bit by bit and didn’t know what order to do what. I spent months piecing together information from podcasts, articles, and conversations with clinicians, attorneys, and accountants, trying to figure out what to do and in what order
Since starting my own practice, I’ve had opportunities to write for platforms like The Knot, Wondermind, and POPSUGAR. Opportunities I don’t think I would have had if I hadn’t eventually taken the leap.
I created this intensive to offer the kind of clarity, structure, and guidance I wish I had when I was starting out, so you can make informed decisions and move forward with concrete next steps.
OVERVIEWStarting a private practice can feel overwhelming especially when you don’t know what to prioritize or where to begin. I’ve been there: working full-time in community mental health while slowly building my practice on the side, trying to figure out when (and how) to take the leap. Thinking about healthcare, student loan forgiveness, all of it.
I spent months piecing together information from different sources while desiring a direct path.
This workshop is designed to give you that information and understanding. We’ll walk through the key decisions that shape your practice early on so you can move forward, avoid common mistakes, and build something sustainable from the start.
Investment: $300 - $375. Those on the waitlist will have access to the early bird pricing and a discount code; available for a limited time.
5- 10 spots are available to keep this experience intentional.
