Private Practice Intensive:
A Small-Group Workshop for Therapists Ready to Start
Hi, I’m Lia, the founder of Alyssa Marie Wellness. I’m a therapist and former group practice owner, and I’ve been licensed since 2015 after receiving my MSW from USC.
I know firsthand how confusing it can feel to start a private practice and how many questions come up along the way. For a long time, I found myself piecing together information bit by bit and didn’t know what order to do what. I listened to podcasts, read articles, and consulted with so many people, clinicians, attorneys, and accountants.
Since starting my own practice, I’ve had opportunities to write for platforms like The Knot, Wondermind, and POPSUGAR. Opportunities I don’t think I would have had if I hadn’t eventually taken the leap.
I created this intensive to offer the kind of clarity, structure, and guidance I wish I had when I was starting out, so you can make informed decisions and move forward with concrete next steps.
Meet the Founder
OVERVIEWStarting a private practice can feel overwhelming, especially when you don’t know what to prioritize or where to begin. I’ve been there: working full-time in community mental health while slowly building my own practice and trying to figure out when to take the leap. I spent months piecing together information from podcasts, articles, and conversations, wishing there was a clearer path.
This workshop is designed to give you that clarity. We’ll focus on the key decisions that shape your practice early on, so you can move forward in a way that feels grounded, aligned, and sustainable. Only 10 spots available to keep this experience intentional.
